MOT Testing

We now have a very modern ATL Mot testing bay. This is now the modern way to test vehicles, with one man testing and special suspension shaker plates that will test the suspension and steering, fully computerised brake testing and emissions testing equipment, with this we can provide you with a very thorough and fair mot test. We can test both class IV (passenger cars & light commercial vehicles up to 3000 designed gross vehicle weight) and class VII which is commercial vehicles up to 3500 designed gross vehicle weight.

Some people ask us why we don’t discount Mot’s? This is my answer:

We don’t discount them because we feel that it totally undermines the whole Mot testing scheme, just remember that when we are testing we are working on behalf of the government, they set the testing fee’s not us, it would cost a testing station around £30’000 to set up a testing bay and a few more thousand to train staff, so why would you offer them at a discounted rate? or even free rate in some cases. Just remember the old sayings of “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” and “you will never get something for nothing” rant over!
